Why SassyMac Schooling?

SassyMac Schooling is more than just a name—it’s a legacy. Teaching runs in our family. We’re a brother-sister team of qualified teachers, inspired by our grandfather, a lifelong educator whose passion for learning sparked the name SassyMac

Education has always been in our blood, and now we’re bringing that same commitment, care, and know-how into homes across the globe. At SassyMac, we blend professional, high-quality teaching with the warmth and flexibility of home education. You can count on us for lessons that are expertly planned, engaging, and tailored to your child—without losing that personal, family-centred feel. We’re here to support your family like we would our own, with an education you can trust and a learning environment that feels just right.

Areas we cover

We cover the entirety of the U.K. and beyond. We have pupils in all of the major cities of the UK, such as London, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Edinburgh and many more. We also have pupils who join us from Cairo, Hong Kong, Doha and Riyadh.

As an online education platform, we are able to cater for students from all time zones.

Instructor Bio:

I began my teaching career in 2012 after earning a degree in Primary and Secondary Education with QTS from Liverpool John Moores University. With extensive experience teaching children aged 3 to 16, I bring a broad and adaptable skill set across all key stages. I specialise in curriculum design and assessment for learning, creating personalised learning journeys that inspire progress and confidence. I hold an MLDP leadership qualification and am a certified Trauma-Informed Schools Practitioner, with additional training in safeguarding, ASD/ADHD, and dyslexia awareness—ensuring every learner feels supported and understood. I am also a mother to two wonderful children, who inspire me every single day. Our hobbies include exploring the beautiful natural world we live in, wild camping and drinking lots of hot chocolate!

Instructor Bio:

I'm a PGCE-qualified primary school teacher with a real passion for helping children grow in confidence and curiosity. Fluent in Arabic, I enjoy using language to build strong relationships with pupils and families. Outside the classroom, I love visiting Egypt and exploring the Middle East, as well as hiking through the Lake District with my wife and children. I'm also a big motorbike enthusiast—there’s nothing quite like the freedom of the open road to recharge and refocus.
