Autumn Term
We teach right up to the school Christmas holidays, then take a two-week festive break.
Spring Term
Lessons resume in the first week of January and run through to the Easter holidays. As key exams approach, we’ll continue to work through this period to stay on track.
Summer Term
We teach right up to the start of the summer holidays, then switch gears into our exciting Summer School program.
Level 1 (Ages 6–8)
In level 1, we develop children's confidence in numeracy. At this early stage, children build essential number sense. They learn to add and subtract confidently, understand place value, and begin simple multiplication and division. We explore shapes, measurements, time, and money in fun, hands-on ways that make maths feel real and useful. It’s all about building confidence and helping children feel like “I can do this!”
Level 2 (Ages 9–11)
In level 2, we focus on SATs and 11+ preparation. Here, children tackle bigger numbers and more complex maths ideas. They work with fractions, decimals, percentages, and learn to multiply and divide larger numbers. They also explore geometry, statistics, and problem-solving using real-life situations. This level sets them up for a smooth move into secondary maths by deepening their understanding and improving their accuracy and reasoning.
Level 3 (Ages 12–14)
In level 3, we slow ramp up the intensity, knowing that some children are starting to prepare for their GCSEs. Now it’s time to build on those solid foundations. Students learn to use algebra, work with coordinates and equations, and develop strong problem-solving skills. They explore more complex geometry and statistics, as well as ratio, proportion, and probability. It’s all about stretching their thinking, learning to explain their methods, and gaining confidence in tackling tricky questions.
Level 4 (Ages 14–16, GCSE Preparation)
In level 4, we start to get students fully prepared for GCSE Maths. We cover everything from algebra, trigonometry, and simultaneous equations to graphs, transformations, and real-life maths problems. Students build speed, accuracy, and exam technique, learning how to break down questions and show their working clearly. Whether they’re aiming for a pass or pushing for a top grade, we support them every step of the way.
